Key Responsibilities
  • Community Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the apartment community, including managing staff, maintaining property standards, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Financial Management: Develop and implement strategies to meet financial objectives, including rent management, budgeting, and financial reporting.
  • Marketing and Leasing: Collaborate with senior management to establish effective marketing and leasing strategies, including rent schedules, rent increases, and renewals.
  • Staff Management: Supervise and train staff to ensure they are equipped to provide excellent customer service and maintain high standards of property management.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure the property maintains compliance with all applicable state and federal program regulations, and identify and mitigate potential risks.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Experience: 1-3 years of relevant work experience, including property management and supervisory experience.
  • Skills: Excellent customer service skills, strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to multitask and manage a fast-paced office environment.
  • Knowledge: Knowledge of property management, landlord and tenant laws, and computer systems, particularly Microsoft Office.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Experience: Experience with Yardi or RealPage property management software, knowledge of LIHTC and HUD regulations.
  • Skills: Strong marketing and leasing skills, ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
