Houseperson Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Houseperson to join our team at Hyatt Place Fairbanks managed by Northwest x Southern Hospitality. As a Houseperson, you will play a vital role in ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our hotel.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide cleaning services, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, washing walls, windows, and mirrors, in designated areas of the hotel.
  • Replace linens, replenish amenities, and make beds in guestrooms.
  • Communicate with guests to effectively respond to complaints and special requests.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent GED.
  • Prior hotel or hospitality experience preferred.
  • Excellent organizational skills, communication skills, and problem-solving skills.
