Job Summary:


This role is responsible for the accurate receipt and timely distribution of materials. The ideal candidate will have experience in materials distribution, shipping, and receiving, with a strong focus on customer service and attention to detail.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Unload delivery trucks, verify counts against packing slips and SAP for correct quantities, and inspect packages for damages.
  • Ensure safe and proper handling, storage, and delivery of time and temperature-sensitive materials, as well as chemicals, biological, and radioactive materials.
  • Operate manual material handling equipment, such as a pallet jack, and maintain accurate records.
  • Provide excellent customer service and maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
  • Participate in required training on regulatory issues affecting the area of work and bring compliance questions to the attention of management.

Requirements:


  • High school diploma and 2-4 years of experience in materials distribution or equivalent combination of related education and experience.
  • Ability to lift up to 35 pounds unassisted and valid driver's license with a good driving record.
  • Intermediate computer/data entry skills and familiarity with SAP and/or Lotus Notes.

Working Conditions:


This role may require working in a fast-paced warehouse environment with varying temperatures and exposure to chemicals, biological, and radioactive materials.
