Job Title: Pharmacy Compounding Specialist II
Company: Option Care Enterprises, Inc.
Job Overview:
- Compensation Range: Starting at $23/Hr with a SIGN ON BONUS for overnight shifts (Tues-Thurs 6pm-6am)
Key Responsibilities:
- Compounding, preparing, and processing prescriptions
- Supporting pharmacists in the preparation and dispensing of medications
- Performing basic pharmaceutical calculations to ensure accurate dosages
- Maintaining quality standards in medication compounding
- Overseeing the work of Compounding Technician I's
Essential Education and Experience Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED
- A minimum of 2 years of experience as a pharmacy technician
- Certification as a Pharmacy Technician (CPhT)
Core Qualifications:
- Customer service experience
- Strong proficiency in mathematical calculations
- Excellent organizational skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office
Physical Demands:
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Frequent bending, reaching, and lifting up to 30lbs
Travel Requirements:
None
Preferred Qualifications:
A background in healthcare or as a pharmacy technician is preferred.
Compensation Range: $23.25-$38.74
