Yard Attendant

About the Role: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Yard Attendant to join our team at IAA. As a Yard Attendant, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facility, handling vehicle check-in, detailing, and other tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Record and file information on vehicles assigned to the facility
• Detail vehicles to improve their appearance and enhance their value at auction
• Operate passenger vehicles in a safe manner, moving them around the facility and participating in drive-through auctions
• Recover keys, license plates, and other information or objects from vehicles at the facility and store them in the appropriate locations
• Assist visitors by providing guidance and directing them to the appropriate person for additional assistance
• Train and develop on-the-job skills in forklift and loader operation

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations
• Physical stamina to perform tasks that require lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling up to 100 pounds
• Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with colleagues
