Role Summary:
The Registered Nurse specializing in Wound Care delivers compassionate and effective outpatient clinical services to patients in a dynamic healthcare setting. This role involves managing a cohort of patients under the supervision of clinic physicians and the Clinical Coordinator. Responsibilities include providing education to patients and caregivers regarding wound care, collaborating with other healthcare professionals about patient treatment, documenting and assessing patient data, and maintaining accurate patient records.

Qualifications:
- Current RN license in the state of practice.
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is preferred.
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association is required; ACLS certification is a plus.
- Certification as a Wound Specialist or as a Certified Wound Care, Ostomy, and/or Continence Nurse is necessary.
- Basic computer proficiency is required.
- Demonstrated commitment to patient care, strong organizational skills, ability to analyze data, and proficiency in interpreting professional literature and regulatory documents.
- Capability to learn and utilize wound care products effectively, manage multiple tasks, and communicate clearly and maturely.
- Spanish language proficiency is advantageous.
- Experience in general nursing, wound care, hyperbaric oxygen therapy, and outpatient clinical settings is preferred.
- Familiarity with infectious diseases, bloodborne pathogens, and hazardous materials; ability to handle physically demanding situations occasionally.
