We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Customer Service Associate to join our team at one of our Hele convenience stores in Hilo, HI.

About the Role:

  • Provide exceptional customer service to our valued customers, ensuring a positive and memorable experience.
  • Accurately ring up sales on our POS system and handle cash and other forms of payment.
  • Responsible for receiving, stocking, and organizing merchandise, as well as maintaining proper inventory levels.
  • Assist with shift audits and identify equipment problems, reporting as needed.
  • Perform cleaning duties to maintain site cleanliness and basic upkeep of equipment.
  • Work cohesively with other employees to create a positive work environment.

Requirements:

  • At least 21 years of age.
  • High School Diploma or GED preferred.
  • Experience in retail sales and handling cash preferred.
  • Ability to communicate in English (orally and in writing) and perform basic math accurately.
  • Ability to work various shifts as scheduled and arrive on time.

Benefits:
