Job Title: Registered Nurse

The Nursing Department at PVH Potomac Valley Hospital seeks a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care in an inpatient hospital setting.

About the Job:

  • Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in various stages of illness or injury.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient information, including medical history, medications, and treatment plans.
  • Administer medications, perform diagnostic tests, and provide emotional support to patients and their families.
  • Work effectively in fast-paced environments and prioritize tasks to ensure timely delivery of care.
  • Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with industry advancements and best practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution.
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of West Virginia or eligibility for licensure by examination.
  • At least one year of experience in an inpatient hospital setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire date.
