Job Description

As a Client Service Specialist at Umpqua Bank, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and support to our clients. This includes processing financial transactions, balancing cash drawers, and assisting customers in determining their financial needs.

Additionally, you will be responsible for opening and processing deposit and loan accounts, cross-selling other bank services, and resolving technical problems on customer accounts. You will also be expected to maintain compliance with all bank regulations and provide exceptional customer service at all times.

Key Responsibilities

- Process a variety of routine financial transactions, including check cashing, withdrawals, deposits, and loan payments
- Balance cash drawers, counting currency and coin accurately
- Assist customers in determining the types of account that will meet their financial needs
- Open and process all types of deposit and loan accounts, including complex retail products such as consumer loans, VISA merchant accounts, and small business loans
- Cross-sell other bank services and refer customers to other departments as appropriate
- Answer questions and/or resolve complex technical problems on customer accounts
- Provide exceptional customer service

Requirements

- Cash handling experience
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively
- Ability to understand and follow directions
- Ability to organize and prioritize work
- Proficient use of Microsoft Word and Excel software applications
- Valid driver's license
- Completion of high school, vocational training, or equivalent
- Demonstrated sales skills

Salary Range

The estimated salary range for this role is $18.00 - $21.00 per hour, depending on your location and level of experience.
