About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to support our team in providing high-quality speech therapy services to individuals of all ages.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support licensed Speech-Language Pathologists in conducting assessments and evaluations
- Assist in the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans
- Provide therapy services under the supervision of a licensed SLP to address speech, language, and communication disorders
- Collaborate with caregivers, families, and other healthcare professionals for coordinated care
- Maintain accurate documentation of client progress and session notes
Requirements:
- Require a Bachelor's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or a related field
- Need to have state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills required
- Ability to work effectively within a collaborative team environment
- Previous experience in a clinical or educational setting is preferred
