Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner to join our team as a Geriatric Care Specialist. In this role, you will provide direct nursing care to our residents while supervising certified nursing assistants. Your expertise will be instrumental in ensuring the highest level of care and quality of life for our residents.

Salary and Benefits

The salary for this position is approximately $ $110,000 per year, based on industry standards and your level of experience. In addition to your base salary, you will also receive comprehensive benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct nursing care to residents, including administering medications, assessing vital signs, and developing personalized care plans
  • Supervise certified nursing assistants to ensure high-quality care and adherence to facility policies and procedures
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement holistic care plans that meet the unique needs of each resident
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current on best practices in geriatric care

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Master's degree in Nursing or a related field
  • At least 2 years of experience in geriatric care, preferably in a leadership role
  • Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) in the state of practice
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, families, and healthcare teams
