We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Motor Vehicle Operator to join our team at the Georgia Department of Public Health. As a Motor Vehicle Operator, you will play a critical role in supporting the overall mission and vision of protecting the lives of Georgian residents.
Key Responsibilities- Drive the mobile WIC unit to provide services to WIC clients in the community and surrounding communities within the West Central Health District.
- Set up and break down the trailer, load the truck/trailer with equipment/supplies for transportation to work sites, transport WIC employees to designated housing areas in the district, operate and maintain the generator, operate the truck, and refuel as needed.
- Assist clients when they enter and depart from the mobile unit, ensuring safety at all times.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma or GED and a valid driver's license.
- Ability to meet West Central Health District's MVR guidelines.
- Ability to work flexible hours and have reliable transportation.
