We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Hospice Caregiver to join our team at BrightSpring Health Services. As a Hospice Caregiver, you will play a vital role in providing personalized care and support to patients in their homes.
Key Responsibilities- Provide personal care services to patients, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Assist with daily living activities, such as meal preparation and light housekeeping
- Monitor and report changes in patient condition to the Case Manager
- Assist with ambulation and exercise as instructed by the hospice nurse or therapist
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and their families
- Meet the training requirements of the State
- Completed a minimum of seventy five hours of classroom and supervised practical training
- Minimum of six months experience in providing personal care
- At least eighteen years of age
- Ability to read and follow written instructions and document care given
- Understands hospice philosophy and is comfortable providing specialized care to the terminally ill
