Job Summary

Deliver high-quality patient care to individuals experiencing cardiopulmonary difficulties and ensure the smooth operation of the Respiratory Therapy Department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Obtain relevant data for therapy through chart review and physical examination.
  • Maintain knowledge of oxygen delivery methods and equipment, assessing potential side effects.
  • Administer respiratory therapy treatments, understanding their purpose and potential side effects.
  • Follow departmental procedures for equipment sterilization and maintenance.
  • Assess patient pain and make appropriate physician contact for intervention.
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited respiratory program with an associate degree.
  • Current Oklahoma RCP license or Provisional letter.
  • NBRC Registered (RRT) credentials.
  • BLS certification.
  • ALS and PALS certifications within six months of employment.
  • TEAM-de-escalation training within six months of hire.
  • NRP certification preferred.
  • Some clinical experience preferred.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Typing and basic computer skills.
