Nurse Practitioner in Vascular Surgery

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Nurse I to join our team at Albany Medical Center. As a member of our Vascular Surgery department, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care.
About the RoleThis position offers a competitive salary range of $85,000 - $110,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.
As a Clinical Nurse I, you will be responsible for providing direct patient care, including assessing patients, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities- Assess patients' physical and emotional needs, identifying areas requiring intervention or support.
- Develop and implement comprehensive care plans that address patients' medical, social, and psychological needs.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless transitions and continuity of care.
- Provide education and support to patients and families on disease management, self-care techniques, and other relevant topics.
- Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) or related field.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of New York.
- 1-2 years of experience in acute care, preferably in vascular surgery or a related specialty.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
