Job Summary:

Genesis10 is seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our team. As a DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for collaborating with application development teams to provide operational assistance for feature delivery. You will also be responsible for configuring and supporting the enterprise SDLC toolset, including work management, source control, and CI/CD tools. Additionally, you will work on cloud onboarding to OpenShift, troubleshoot build and deploy failures, and facilitate resolution. You will also assist in internal team documentation to streamline processes and broaden knowledgebase. Proactively, you will work with internal teams to streamline onboarding and usage of capabilities. You will communicate status frequently to technology partners.

Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with application development teams to provide operational assistance for feature delivery

Requirements:
  • 6+ years of experience in Jenkins, Bitbucket, Gradle scripts, Ansible, XLR, OpenShift, Kubernetes
  • Ability to build and debug scripts
  • 2+ years hands-on experience in application development and/or operating environments including Java Applications
  • Ability to understand various/complex application architecture to support setting up Continuous Integration (CI), Continuous Deployment (CD) and Continuous Testing
  • Strong analysis and problem-solving ability
  • Excellent documentation skills, software design, build and test skills
  • Agile tools (Jira)
