We are seeking a dedicated and nurturing individual to join our team as a Mobile Infant Room Assistant Teacher at Kid's Crossing Daycare.

Job Summary

The ideal candidate will have a genuine love for working with infants and mobile infants and a strong understanding of child development. Previous experience working with infants in a childcare setting is preferred.

Responsibilities
  • Provide quality care to children, including assisting with daily routines such as feeding, diaper changing, and nap time.
  • Supervise and participate in children's daily activities, including engaging mobile infants in age-appropriate activities that promote their overall development.
  • Greet parents and children in a warm, inviting manner and console children, treat basic injuries, and work closely with the lead teacher.
  • Assist in regular communication with parents and staff, including providing updates on children's progress and needs.
Requirements
  • 18 years of age or older
  • Previous childcare experience (preferred)
  • Reliable transportation
  • Ability to pass a child abuse/neglect screening
  • No felony convictions
  • Willingness to complete state required background checks and CPR certification
