- Mentor and train team members and peers, offering technical guidance and support to personnel at all levels.

- Accept additional responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required. Equivalent combinations of education, training, and relevant work experience may be considered.

Experience

- A minimum of 5 years of proven experience with substantial expertise in a current DCS such as PlantPAx or Delta V is required.

- Experience in a cGMP environment is preferred. Proficiency in computer control system start-ups, loop tuning, bug fixes, and control system modification and maintenance is essential. Experience in developing process or equipment control applications is also required.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills. A self-starter who is independent and dependable.

- Effective time management and prioritization abilities. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work well within a team.

- Experience in developing configurable control and supervisory systems, as well as historian-type program development, configuration, and maintenance, including OSI PI, Wonderware, and Allen-Bradley (Rockwell) FT Historian data historians.

- Familiarity with at least one historian is required.

- Experience with Allen-Bradley (Rockwell) products, ranging from independent SLC, Micro-, Compact-, and ControlLogix applications to a complete PlantPAx DCS, including FTBatch.

- Experience with some of these products is required.

- Familiarity with Wonderware stand-alone and Wonderware System Platform as a supervisory system is advantageous.

- Knowledge of IT and OT networking, including VLAN management and Stratix switch configuration, is beneficial.

- Experience with Honeywell controls for BMS and Fire systems is a plus.

- Experience in the biotech or pharmaceutical industries is beneficial.
