Senior Microbiologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Microbiologist to join our Food Safety, Quality, and Regulatory Affairs team at Conagra Brands. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in shaping our food safety vision and ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety in our products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement food safety strategies to prevent contamination and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate food safety risks.
• Conduct risk assessments and recommend mitigation strategies to ensure the safety of our products.
• Provide guidance and direction on food safety-related issues and ensure adherence to standards across the global supply chain.
• Develop and maintain HACCP pre-requisite programs, including training, GMPs, and SSOPs, as part of Conagra's overall food safety system.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Microbiology, or related field.
• 5+ years of related industry experience, with a strong background in food safety and microbiology.
• Knowledge of HACCP and related food safety systems, as well as government regulations (FDA/USDA/CDC/State and Local, and international).
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
