Pelvic Floor Physical Therapist

FYZICAL Therapy and Balance Centers is seeking a highly skilled Pelvic Floor Physical Therapist to join our team in Columbia, Maryland. As a Pelvic Floor Physical Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping patients achieve optimal physical function and quality of life.
We are a nationwide group of over 500 independently owned physical therapy clinics, with a focus on orthopedic and vestibular rehabilitation. Our team is passionate about delivering exceptional patient care and creating a supportive work environment that fosters growth and development.
As a Pelvic Floor Physical Therapist with FYZICAL, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population, including those with vestibular, balance, neurological, and fall-risk conditions. You will be responsible for performing new-patient evaluations, diagnosing patients, creating treatment plans, and providing education to patients on techniques for continued care.
Responsibilities- Perform new-patient evaluations and exams to diagnose patients and evaluate physical activity limitations
- Create treatment plans that set goals and completion dates
- Equip patients with physical therapy intervention techniques and exercises, and track progress
- Provide education to patients on techniques for continued care
- Examine and evaluate new patients, and establish a diagnosis of condition or conditions and their impact on activity
- Establish a plan goal and time frame, and prescribe intervention techniques and exercises
- Measure and track intervention effectiveness, and educate patients on continuing care
- Accredited PT program graduate
- Up-to-date state PT license
- Able to create and implement outpatient balance and vestibular rehabilitation-setting treatment plans
- Ability to work efficiently and effectively in an autonomous environment
- Must have pelvic floor therapy experience
- Graduation from an accredited PT program and current PT license in MD
- Must be able to carry out and progress a skilled treatment plan in an outpatient setting
- Must be self-motivated with a willingness to learn
- Passion for working with vestibular, balance, neurological, and fall-risk patient population
