We are seeking a skilled Locum Physician to join our team at Weatherby Healthcare. As a locum physician, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with our experienced team of healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities- Active State License: Must have an active state medical license to practice medicine in the state where the assignment is located.
- BC Required: Must have Board Certification in a relevant medical specialty.
- Call and Weekend Coverage: Must be willing to participate in call and weekend coverage, including 24-hour shifts.
- Consecutive Day Coverage: Preferably, candidates should be able to provide coverage for several consecutive days to assist in call.
- Delivery Volume: The hospital delivers approximately 1700 babies per year, with the group handling around 200 of those deliveries.
- Call Coverage: Must be willing to participate in hotel pager call coverage.
- Credentialing and DEA: Must have completed credentialing and possess a valid DEA license.
- Benefits: We offer paid malpractice insurance, pre-paid travel and housing expenses, and competitive compensation.
- Assignment Details: Assignment details and time entry will be managed through our online portal.
- Access to Consultant: You will have 24-hour access to your Weatherby Healthcare consultant for support and guidance.
