Logistics Coordinator

Position Overview:

The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for overseeing all elements related to the transportation of residents within our facility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the proper upkeep of all vehicles utilized for resident transport.
  • Represent the organization professionally when interacting with medical providers.
  • Maintain accurate records for each transport and for every vehicle.
  • Conduct routine maintenance checks on vehicles used for transporting residents.
  • Develop and uphold a maintenance schedule for all transport vehicles.

Additionally, the Logistics Coordinator will:

  • Foster positive relationships with community partners, hospitals, and other healthcare facilities to ensure seamless service coordination for our residents.
  • Transport specimens and other necessary items to medical facilities as needed.
  • Procure supplies from local vendors as requested by staff.

Qualifications:

  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Current registration as a Nursing Assistant or Emergency Medical Technician.
  • Flexibility in performing various tasks.
  • Previous transportation experience is preferred.
