We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer to join our R&D team at Broadcom Corporation. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to work on bleeding edge network virtualization technologies, network overlays, and layer-2 switching.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop a large-scale distributed configuration management system.
  • Collaborate with Product Management and cross-functional teams to analyze user needs and determine software solutions.
  • Apply company policies to resolve technical issues.
  • Develop testing and validation procedures, programming, and documentation.

The successful candidate will have a Master's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, with 12+ years of related experience, or a combination of education and experience that demonstrates the necessary skills and knowledge. Experience in distributed systems, handling large-scale enterprise systems, and networking stacks is essential. Proficiency in Java and Python is required, while knowledge of C++ is a plus.

The annual base salary range for this position is $141,000 - $225,000. The position is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus and equity in accordance with relevant plan documents and equity award agreements. Additionally, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision plans, 401(K) participation, Employee Stock Purchase Program (ESPP), Employee Assistance Program (EAP), paid holidays, sick leave, and vacation time.
