Environmental Due Diligence Specialist

At ERM, we are seeking a highly skilled Principal Consultant to join our Transactions team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for managing and delivering due diligence projects related to environmental health and safety (EHS) risks. Our team is dedicated to providing high-quality services to our clients, helping them understand and manage sustainability challenges.
The successful candidate will have experience in EHS due diligence, including analyzing information to understand commercial consequences of environmental, health, and safety issues. You will also be required to collaborate with global practice communities, establish strong relationships with clients, and advise on liabilities and risks associated with transactions.
To succeed in this role, you must have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering, climate science, environmental science, geology, or a related field, along with 8+ years of experience in environmental consulting. Familiarity with environmental regulations and knowledge of ASTM Phase I standards are essential. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills are also required.
