We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Labor and Delivery team on a PRN basis. As a Registered Nurse in this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure excellent patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care to meet the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of patients.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Monitor and manage patient vital signs, medication, and treatment plans.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
- Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing.
- Current license as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice.
- Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS-HCP) certification.
- Previous experience as a Registered Nurse, preferably in Labor and Delivery.
- BSN degree or higher.
- Experience with electronic medical records and other healthcare software.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
This role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a high level of patient acuity. The successful candidate will be able to prioritize tasks, manage multiple patients, and maintain a calm and professional demeanor in high-stress situations.
