Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Athletic Trainer to join our team at Seattle Children's. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide exceptional rehabilitative care to injured athletes and educate patients, families, and staff on injury prevention, rehabilitation, and wellness.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement rehabilitation plans to reduce pain and improve mobility in injured athletes
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care
  • Conduct athlete/patient evaluations and testing to identify areas for improvement
  • Design and implement exercise programs to promote injury prevention and overall health
  • Provide education and training to patients, families, and staff on injury prevention and rehabilitation techniques
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in a health-related field
  • One or more years of relevant experience
  • Certification as an Athletic Trainer by the National Athletic Trainers Association
  • Current Washington State license to practice as an Athletic Trainer
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's Degree in a health-related field
  • Two years of experience in an athletic training setting
  • Demonstrated success in facilitating classes and workshops
