Principal Security Analyst

Kforce Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Principal Security Analyst to join their team. This is a direct hire, full-time position that can be performed remotely.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive cybersecurity strategy that aligns with the company's business objectives.
  • Design secure cloud architecture and application frameworks, considering factors like scalability and data protection.
  • Identify, assess, and prioritize cybersecurity risks and vulnerabilities associated with cloud infrastructure and applications.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations, standards, and legal requirements related to cybersecurity.
  • Develop and maintain security policies, standards, and procedures to protect company assets and data.
  • Develop and oversee the incident response plan for cloud and application security incidents.
  • Promote a culture of cybersecurity awareness throughout the organization.
  • Evaluate and manage third-party vendor security risks and relationships.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CISA) preferred.
  • At least seven (7) years of proven experience as a Security Analyst or in a senior leadership role within the cybersecurity field in the regulated payments, banking/financial services industry.
  • Must have experience working with AWS.
  • Experience in managing and leading cybersecurity teams.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful cybersecurity strategies.
