We are seeking a skilled Patient Care Tech to join our team at Mass General Brigham. As a Patient Care Tech, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our interdisciplinary healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with direct patient care needs, including activities of daily living and preventative skin care.
- Contribute to the plan of care through ongoing communication with the RN and participate in hourly patient care rounds.
- Assist with patient data and specimen collection, including vital signs, pulse oximetry, and non-invasive blood pressure.
- Support a Culture of Safety by providing a safe and comfortable patient/family experience.
- Document aspects of care on approved forms or electronic medical record.
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Six months experience as a Nursing Assistant or is a Nursing Student currently enrolled in a formal program.
- Certification as a Nursing Assistant preferred.
