Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team at Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital. As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will work under the supervision of a registered physical therapist to provide direct patient care, family/caregiver training, and documentation for assigned patients. You will also perform departmental supportive tasks as assigned.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a registered physical therapist.
- Conduct family/caregiver training and education.
- Document patient progress and treatment plans.
- Communicate effectively with the healthcare team.
- Perform departmental supportive tasks as assigned.
Requirements:
- Graduate from a 2-year college-level program approved by the American Physical Therapy Association or equivalent education/experience.
- California Physical Therapy Assistant License upon hire.
- National Provider BLS certification.
Preferred Qualifications:
1 year of experience in physical therapy or a related field.
