Key Responsibilities:- Conduct surveys and evaluations of healthcare facilities to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve the quality of care and services provided by healthcare facilities.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals and facility administrators to identify areas for improvement and implement changes.
- Provide training and education to healthcare professionals on best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Master's degree in Social Work.
- Successful completion of CMS's Long-Term Care Basic Training and passing of the Surveyor Minimum Qualifications Test (SMQT).
- At least two years of recent experience working as a surveyor accrediting or certifying facilities that serve the residents of long-term care facilities.
- Current licensure to practice as an LCSW.
- Demonstrated history of independent decision-making skills to direct and effectively manage the survey process.
- Ability to set priorities independently and collectively in performing survey tasks.
- Ability to openly discuss conflicts/controversy, and to seek assistance when appropriate to make decisions and resolve conflicts.
- U.S. Citizenship is required for this position.
- Ability to travel up to 75% of the time on a regular basis is required.
- Competitive salary range of $72,000 - $80,000 per year.
