Job Overview

Community Rehabilitation Hospital South is seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our interdisciplinary team. As a key member of our rehabilitation team, you will provide high-quality patient care and contribute to our hospital's mission to maximize the health, function, and quality of life of those we serve.

Responsibilities
  • Assess and reassess patients to identify and initiate appropriate rehabilitation nursing interventions
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to promote patient recovery and independence
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care and optimal patient outcomes
  • Provide education and support to patients and families to promote self-care and empowerment
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and hospital operations
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited licensed practical/vocational nurse program
  • Current state licensure as a Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse
  • CPR/BCLS certification; ACLS preferred
  • IV Certified or obtained within 6 months highly preferred
  • Minimum six months' Medical/Surgical experience in an acute care setting preferred
