Job Title: Travel CT Technologist

We are seeking a skilled and experienced CT Technologist to join our team as a travel nurse in Texarkana, Texas.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for operating computed tomography equipment to capture diagnostic images of patients' internal organs and tissues. They will also be responsible for preparing and caring for patients undergoing CT scanning, as well as maintaining accurate patient records.

Responsibilities:
  • Confirm patient identification and review imaging requests
  • Explain imaging procedures to patients and provide reassurance and support as required
  • Position patients to scan specific areas of their bodies
  • Use computerized tomography equipment to capture diagnostic images
  • Administer radiocontrast agents to patients
  • Evaluate CT scans to determine whether they are of good technical quality
  • Follow safety procedures when working with radiation
  • Maintain accurate patient records
Requirements:
  • 1 year of experience as a CT Technologist
  • ARRT National certification with registration in computed tomography
  • State-specific licensing when required
  • Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time
  • Ability to bend, lean or stoop without difficulty
