Locum Tenens IR Radiologist Position Available

Position Overview: Our client is seeking a skilled Interventional Radiologist to provide coverage. A strong General Radiologist with experience in light interventional procedures may also be considered.
Work Schedule: This role is primarily Monday through Friday, from 8 AM to 5 PM, and will commence upon successful credentialing.
Responsibilities: The position is expected to involve over 75% interventional radiology duties, along with some general diagnostic radiology tasks. The practice encompasses a diverse range of inpatient and outpatient interventional procedures, including:
- Paracentesis and thoracentesis
- Pleural and peritoneal drain placements
- CT/Ultrasound guided biopsies and drains
- Nephrostomy and biliary drainage
- Central venous access and lumbar punctures/myelograms
Daily Procedures: The exact number of procedures performed daily is currently unknown, but inquiries have been made with the client.
Technology: The imaging system utilized is Intelerad, and the dictation software is PowerScribe 360.
Credentialing Timeline: The estimated credentialing period is approximately 60 days.
