The Trampoline Safety Specialist at Surge Adventure Park reports directly to the Team Leader or General Manager.
ResponsibilitiesThis role is exciting, fun, and rewarding. As a Trampoline Safety Specialist, you are part of the Surge high-energy atmosphere. You remind guests of the rules on the jumping surfaces and actively contribute to the experience of our Guests. As a Surge Trampoline Safety Specialist, you have an incredible responsibility that includes having a consistent watchful eye on the attraction you have been assigned, while making sure everyone is having fun.
Responsibilities include:
• Maintaining the safety of patrons in and around the jumping surfaces and foam pits.
• Representing Surge Adventure Park by maintaining a professional attitude in keeping with the park's philosophy.
• Communicating and enforcing all park regulations and jumping rules in a personable and professional manner.
• Communicating any potentially dangerous elements of the facility to the Team Leader or General Manager.
• Attending all scheduled staff meetings.
• Participating in and helping facilitate staff training.
• If unable to work, finding a substitute and completing the substitution form.
• Performing patron surveillance with a whistle from the pre-set surveillance area.
• Remaining alert and using all senses while monitoring the jumping surfaces.
• Working as a team with other Trampoline Safety Specialists during special events.
• Recording equipment inspections.
• Completing the trampoline safety checklist at the beginning of each day, and reporting problems to the supervisor.
• Setting up trampoline stations for various activities such as aerobics classes, dodge ball, etc.
• Responding to an emergency and activating EMS when necessary.
• Handling all incidents in a manner appropriate to your training. First Aid is to be administered by the Facility Supervisor UNLESS it is LIFE THREATENING. Never give anyone medication. Recommend that all injured patrons seek professional medical attention.

o Do NOT discuss ANY injuries or medical treatment with anyone on or off duty. This is a HIPPA violation and immediately makes you liable.
• Assisting the Park Management Team in keeping the Community informed of park activities.
• Performing other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Be 16+ years of age
- Have the ability to lift 50+ pounds, climb a flight of stairs, and assist on attractions in the event of an emergency.
- Have the ability to effectively and verbally communicate with guests in order to ensure proper safety for everyone in the facility
- Have the ability to stand for long periods of time without assistance
- Have the ability to visually inspect all equipment for safety
- All employees are required to professionally communicate with management without the help of a third party (ex. parents, friends, or coworkers).
- Employees should be able to manage time effectively and arrive to work on time.
