About the Role

The HVAC Technician II is a key member of our team, responsible for performing maintenance, repairs, and installations of assigned HVAC and refrigeration equipment and controls. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and building systems, as well as excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical faults in HVAC systems
  • Install, maintain, and repair ventilation and air conditioning systems and equipment
  • Identify maintenance risks on equipment and implement corrective actions
  • Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults in HVAC systems
  • Provide technical direction and on-the-job training to junior technicians
  • Keep accurate records of maintenance functions and ensure compliance with appliance standards and Occupational Health and Safety Act
Requirements
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Must possess a valid, unexpired driver's license
  • Must possess HVAC license in the state, county, or city jurisdiction in which work will be performed
  • Must possess EPA Universal certification credentials
  • Must have refrigeration/HVAC trade or vocational certification
  • Three (3) years of HVAC experience are required
  • A minimum of one (1) year of experience as an HVAC Journeyman is required
Preferred Qualifications
  • Three (3)-Five (5) years of HVAC experience is preferred
