Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Embedded Software Team Lead to join our team in Cupertino, CA. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading a team of engineers and ensuring the successful delivery of projects.

The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of engineering experience, 2-5 years of program management experience, and a strong background in low-level embedded C firmware development. You will also have excellent communication skills and the ability to drive issues, track tasks, and evaluate priorities on a regular basis.

Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of engineers and ensure the successful delivery of projects
  • Handle resource assignment and work scheduling
  • Report two weeks ahead for any team member to take Vacation/Annual leave and arrange coverage
  • Screen, onboard, and train new team members
  • Monitor issue reports from each team member and provide Weekly Summary Reports
  • Provide feedback to leaders and cross-functional teams
  • Fulfill resource gaps if someone is on leave
Qualifications
  • Engineering experience: 5-7 years
  • Program management experience: 2-5 years
  • BS Computer Engineering or relevant work experience (MS is a plus)
  • Low-level embedded C firmware experience and its interaction with hardware
  • Effective communication skills
  • Ability to drive issues, track tasks, and evaluate priorities on a regular basis
