About the Role

MRG Exams Careers is seeking a skilled Optometrist to join our team as a part-time Independent Medical Examiner. As a Comprehensive Eye Exam Specialist, you will be responsible for performing thorough eye exams on United States Veterans as part of the VA's Standardized Health Assessment (SHA) process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review medical health records through a secure Web Portal to prepare for each exam.
  • Conduct comprehensive eye exams on each veteran, gathering relevant data and information.
  • Complete forms through the Web Portal, providing medical opinions and assessments.
  • Submit completed forms within 24 hours after each exam.
Requirements
  • Must hold a current license as an Optometrist in the state where exams are performed.
  • Must be able to perform Visual Field Testing (VFT).
  • Meets the credentialing requirements set forth by the VA.
