Job Summary:
A dedicated and skilled Imaging Technologist is required to operate computed tomography (CT) equipment, producing high-quality images of patients' bones, organs, and tissue for accurate diagnoses. This role involves performing a range of imaging procedures, including CT scans, general radiography, and fluoroscopy.
About the Role:
- Assess patient needs and develop personalized plans for imaging procedures.
- Operate CT scanners and other imaging equipment to produce detailed cross-sectional images.
- Collaborate with radiologists to ensure accurate image interpretation and diagnosis.
- Maintain accurate records and files, adhering to HIPAA guidelines and regulations.
- Perform routine maintenance and calibration of equipment and manage supply inventory.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in imaging technology.
Requirements:
- Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or equivalent experience.
- Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) as R.T. (R)(CT) or R.T. (R)(ARRT).
- Current licensure as a Radiologic Tech in California.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Fluoroscopy license in California (preferred).
- Venipuncture certification (preferred).
Benefits:
- Competitive salary: $76,000 - 96,000 per annum, depending on experience.
