We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Lead Speech Therapist to join our team in Cardiff, California. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for providing speech and language services to students with communication disorders.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will have a minimum of 1+ years' experience in speech therapy and a valid California State SLP License. A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or equivalent is also required. Prior school-based experience is preferred but not mandatory.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct evaluations and assessments to diagnose communication disorders
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on evaluations and assessments
- Provide speech and language therapy to students in both individual and group settings
- Collaborate with other professionals, such as teachers and parents, to ensure the best possible outcomes for students
- Maintain accurate records of evaluations, assessments, and therapy sessions
- Attend meetings and provide reports on student progress
