POSITION SUMMARY
The Room Attendant is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in guest accommodations and public spaces, ensuring a welcoming environment for all visitors.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
To excel in this role, the individual must effectively carry out the essential duties listed below. Reasonable accommodations may be provided to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the fundamental functions.
PRIMARY DUTIES
Maintain cleanliness in common areas such as the lobby, dining area, restrooms, hallways, and other designated spaces:
- Restock housekeeping carts with necessary supplies and fresh linens while disposing of used linens.
- Conduct carpet cleaning in guest rooms and public areas as required, following the maintenance schedule.
- Perform regular property inspections to identify areas needing attention.
- Recognize and report minor maintenance concerns to the appropriate personnel.
- Respond to guest requests made through front desk staff, including items such as toiletries and linens.
- Assist with housekeeping duties as needed, ensuring rooms are cleaned according to brand standards.
- Complete any additional tasks as assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Less than a high school diploma; or up to one month of related experience or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

- Ability to comprehend simple guest requests and engage in general conversation.
