Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of best practices in automotive repair
  • Perform essential maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and multi-point inspections
  • Handle recalls and minor warranty repairs
  • Keep accurate and clear documentation for customer records
  • Ensure a clean and safe working environment to prolong equipment life
  • Test drive vehicles to assess performance and check fluid levels
  • Verify tire pressure and lubricate fittings as necessary
  • Install new oil drain plugs and filters, communicating oil levels to team members
  • Complete light recall tasks
  • Utilize power tools and hand tools for various automotive tasks
  • Fulfill all manufacturer-required training
  • Obtain Missouri State and Emission Licenses within the first 90 days of employment

Qualifications

  • Full set of tools is mandatory for this position.
  • Commitment to quality workmanship
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Strong communication abilities
  • Pass a drug screening and random tests; zero tolerance policy
  • Clear criminal background check required
  • Willingness to learn new technologies and repair methods
  • High School Diploma or GED is required
  • ASE Certification or Technical Degree is preferred
  • A minimum of one year of experience in a service department
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Missouri State and Emission Licenses are necessary
