Job DescriptionThe successful candidate will be responsible for operating CT equipment, producing high-quality images of patients' bones, organs, and tissue, and collaborating with radiologists to ensure accurate diagnoses.
- Positioning patients for CT scans using immobilization and protective equipment as necessary
- Appropriately setting the controls of the related equipment, monitoring equipment and patient, making adjustments as needed
- Assisting radiologists with imaging procedures, starting IVs, and injecting contrast, if applicable
Requirements
- A minimum of 18 months prior experience in a healthcare setting as a CT Technologist
- ARRT (CT) or ASRT certification
- Licensure in most states
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
