Overview

Responsibilities

We are seeking a Per Diem Pulmonary Medicine Specialist to join our team at Franciscan Pulmonary Associates at St. Joseph Medical Center in Tacoma, Washington. As part of our multidisciplinary care environment, you will have the opportunity to practice high-quality, evidence-based medicine with robust specialty support within a regional medical center setting.

The ideal candidate will be an exceptional clinician with excellent communication skills and a strong commitment to patient-centered care and teamwork. You will work in a predominantly outpatient clinic setting, with opportunities for occasional hospitalist coverage. Our system-wide EPIC electronic medical record ensures seamless communication and collaboration across our healthcare network.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must possess:

  • Board Certification in Pulmonary Medicine (ABIM)
  • A current, unrestricted Washington State license
  • Current, unrestricted federal and as-needed state prescriptive authority

Compensation

The estimated annual salary range for this position is $379,750 - $512,500, based on a 20-hour-per-week schedule, reflecting the high demand for pulmonary specialists in the Puget Sound area.
