About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician II to join our team at IOS. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe operation of our heavy duty equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Preventative Maintenance: Perform regular preventative maintenance on all equipment products, including batch plants, to ensure production is as efficient and safe as possible.
  • Equipment Repair: Troubleshoot and repair equipment as needed, following standard work methods and practicing safe work habits.
  • Quality Control: Ensure the quality of our equipment and products by adhering to 5S standards and maintaining a clean and safe work area.
  • Communication: Carry out verbal and written instructions from our Foreman and communicate effectively with production workers.
  • Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve equipment issues by observing and listening to mechanical devices in operation.
  • Reporting: Prepare maintenance reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
  • Installation: Assist in the installation of new production equipment and required infrastructure.
  • Adaptability: Be flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to work safely and efficiently.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: 3+ years of proven maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Skills: In-depth knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems maintenance, ability to exert up to 60 pounds of force occasionally, and average proficiency in mathematics.
