We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Emergency Room Nurse to join our team at TotalMed. As an Emergency Room Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced emergency setting.
Key Responsibilities- Assess and treat patients with emergent medical conditions in a dynamic and challenging environment.
- Administer medications, perform procedures, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to stabilize patients and ensure optimal outcomes.
- Monitor patient vital signs, response to treatment, and changes in condition, adjusting care plans as necessary to address emergent needs.
- Advocate for patients' needs and coordinate care transitions, including admissions to inpatient units or referrals to specialty services.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families on post-emergency care instructions, follow-up appointments, and community resources for ongoing support.
- Current RN license
- BLS (Other Certifications as required by facility)
- Two years of recent ER RN experience
- Strong communication and adaptability skills
