Job Summary:

Westchester Medical Center seeks a highly skilled Pediatric Nurse Practitioner to provide comprehensive primary care in the areas of neonatal or infant healthcare. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in nursing administration and clinical collaboration with physicians.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide primary medical care, including examinations, assessments, diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
  • Supervise and guide nursing and other healthcare professionals in the area of expertise.
  • Collaborate with nursing administration to develop and implement healthcare programs.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited Master's of Nursing Program.
  • Possession of a valid license and current registration issued by the New York State Education Department as a Registered Nurse.
  • Preferred: NICU Certified NP with two years of experience in pediatrics or a neonatal nursery, and current certification as a Nurse Practitioner with prescription writing privileges issued by the New York State Department of Education.
