Nurse Educator

As a Nurse Educator at CHRISTUS Health, you will play a vital role in the development and implementation of nursing continuing education programs. Your primary responsibility will be to coordinate the orientation of all nursing personnel, ensuring a smooth transition into their roles. Additionally, you will represent CHRISTUS Health in community activities, promoting the organization's values and mission.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain consistency with Administrative and Departmental policies, demonstrating appropriate behavior, dress, attitude, attendance, confidentiality, professionalism, and reliability.
• Plan and implement educational activities to meet identified learning needs, utilizing adult education principles.
• Promote collaborative relationships among health care professionals, fostering a culture of teamwork and open communication.
• Participate in committees, task forces, meetings, and activities to assist in the development of staff, ultimately resulting in improved care.
• Engage in activities that promote professional development through education and other activities that enhance the practice of nursing and education.
Requirements:
• Associate's Degree in Nursing
• RN License in the state of employment or compact
• BLS Certification
Work Schedule:
5 Days - 8 Hours

Full Time
