Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Labor and Delivery team at Novant Health. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to a positive and supportive work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to laboring mothers and their newborns, including administering medications, performing medical procedures, and monitoring vital signs.
  • Collaborate with obstetricians, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care and communication.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans that address the unique needs and goals of each patient.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current on best practices and advancements in labor and delivery care.
  • Contribute to a positive and respectful work environment by promoting teamwork, open communication, and a culture of safety and quality.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a current valid North Carolina nursing license or Multi-State/Compact.
  • One year of relevant experience in labor and delivery or a related field.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
