Become a part of our team We are currently offering a $10,000 sign-on bonus for full-time Automotive Technicians.

Spee-Dee Delivery is in search of a talented professional responsible for diagnosing and repairing gasoline engines along with various powertrain components, hydraulic braking systems, steering and suspension systems, electrical systems, and diesel emission systems.

Work Schedule and Compensation:
  • Monday to Friday, starting at 12:00 PM
  • 10-15 hours of overtime anticipated weekly
  • Overtime paid at time and a half after 40 hours
  • Initial pay range: $26.00-$33.00 per hour, depending on experience, plus an additional $2 per hour shift differential
Key Responsibilities:
  • Utilize diagnostic tools and laptop technology effectively
  • Adhere to reasonable directives from the shift supervisor
  • Work autonomously or collaboratively as part of a team
  • Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on fleet vehicles
  • Maintain a clean and efficient work environment
  • Possess personal tools or the ability to acquire necessary tools for job functions
  • Welding and torch skills are advantageous but not mandatory
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned
Qualifications and Experience:
  • High School diploma or equivalent is mandatory
  • Preferred: Two years of technical training in diesel or automotive mechanics
  • Ability to operate a manual transmission vehicle or willingness to learn
  • Capability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and 75 pounds occasionally
  • Must pass a DOT physical examination
  • Ability to remain on feet for a minimum of eight hours
  • Work environment requires bending, kneeling, crouching, walking, and driving
  • Potential exposure to hazards such as diesel exhaust, brake dust, grease, antifreeze, and other elements associated with vehicle repair
