Key Responsibilities- Lead the Capital Improvement Program (CIP) Section, overseeing the planning, design, construction, and inspection of various projects.
- Supervise a team of engineers and technicians, providing guidance and support to ensure successful project delivery.
- Develop strategies and schedules for implementing the CIP, ensuring timely and within-budget completion.
- Assist with CIP budgeting and provide input on project prioritization.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, including contractors, consultants, and community groups, to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related field.
- Five years of progressively responsible professional-level civil engineering experience, including at least two years of supervisory experience.
- Registration as a Professional Civil Engineer issued by the State of California.
- Excellent communication and project management skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret engineering plans and specifications.
